Meet Khristopher—whom many now call a borderline history-maker.

7 ACE Score, 27 Years Old, 27+ Major National Awards

His Father Opened the Door to Chaos, But His Mother Created Moments of Peace

When Khristopher Fields was seven, his father was battling crack addiction, alcoholism, and a severe psychiatric disorder. His father opened the door to chaos, unpredictability, and struggle, but his mother did everything she could to create moments of peace within the storm. She tried to shield him from the worst of it, holding onto hope even when stability felt impossible.

Survival became second nature. He learned to anticipate the storms, to read the shifts in energy, to stay small when necessary. But he also found inspiration in unexpected places—kind words from a teacher, encouragement from a mentor, moments that made him believe, even briefly, that something better was possible. His childhood was not just pain—it was resilience, adaptation, and an evolving fight to create something greater for himself.

Now, 20 Years Later, at 27, Khris Walks Through the Same Neighborhoods That Shaped Him

Now, 20 years later, at 27, Khris walks through the same types of neighborhoods that shaped him. The echoes of his past follow him. A kid on the street corner, head down, shoulders slumped. A boy at the bus stop, fists clenched at his sides. He recognizes them—because they were him. And in that moment, something clicks.

He had made it through. And now, he had a responsibility to ensure others did too.

He Had Made It Through. And Now, He Had a Responsibility to Ensure Others Did Too.

That realization led him to create the Wise Up to Rise Up Foundation, an initiative that doesn’t just offer hope—it provides real opportunities. Khris knew from experience that recognition can change a young person’s outlook, that being seen and valued can shift a life’s trajectory. That’s why he has helped over 170 students earn U.S. Presidential Awards, Congressional Honors, and other prestigious distinctions. Not because awards define success, but because they affirm that these kids matter.

That Realization Led Him to Create the Wise Up to Rise Up Foundation

His impact extends beyond mentorship. He drafted and championed the Lone Star Perseverance Award Act, a bill currently moving through the Texas House of Representatives. And in 2025, he’s taking his advocacy further, running for the Katy ISD School Board of Trustees to serve 92,000 students across 75 campuses.

His Dedication Has Earned Him Nearly 30 Awards From Federal, State, and Local Governments

His dedication has earned him nearly 30 awards from federal, state, and local governments, including:

  • The U.S. Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award

  • Seven U.S. Congressional Special Recognitions for Service

  • Honorary Admiral in the Texas Navy by the Governor of Texas

  • Two official City of Houston Days named in his honor

But for Khris, the real reward is impact.

In January 2025, He Stood Before Students at IDEA Public Schools –

Spears Campus, Sharing His Story

In November 2024, he stood before students at IDEA Public Schools – Spears Campus, sharing his story and the medals he had earned. That moment ignited a spark.

For many of these students—85% of whom live below the federal poverty line—success felt distant. But Khris proved otherwise. He showed them that greatness isn’t reserved for a select few—it’s within their reach. That belief translated into action, and by the end of the academic year, 100 students had risen to the challenge, earning U.S. Presidential Education Achievement Awards.

A record-breaking milestone.

One moment. One message. One movement that changed everything.

Khris sees them—because he was them. And now, he’s making sure they see themselves as more than their circumstances. He’s showing them they are leaders, visionaries, and changemakers in the making. And thanks to his work, the world is seeing them too.

But What Most People Don’t Know is That Below the Surface, Advancing Past the ACEs Was Cheering Him On

But what most people don’t know is that below the surface, Advancing Past the ACEs was cheering him on, supporting him, helping him navigate challenges, and inspiring him to reach higher. We saw something in him that he hadn’t yet seen in himself.

A year ago, he wouldn’t have imagined all of this. The impact, the growth, the achievements.

Yet, Advancing Past the ACEs saw his potential before he did.

What Started as 20 Hours of Dedicated ACE Education and Awareness Training Became 25, Then 30, Then More

At first, it was just 20 hours of ACE (Adverse Childhood Experiences) education and awareness training—an opportunity to learn about how childhood trauma affects lives. But as he sat through the training, something clicked. The more he learned, the more he saw himself in the lessons. His own struggles, his past, the obstacles he had faced—suddenly, they all made sense.

What began as education turned into something deeper. As inspiration grew, so did his commitment—20 hours became 25, then 30, then more. Each session wasn’t just about understanding ACEs; it was about breaking through. It was about realizing that his past didn’t have to define his future. It was about seeing that he could heal—and help others do the same.

This wasn’t just training anymore. It was the key to his own success story.

That investment led to him becoming what many now call a borderline history-maker.
